overnight lightening flashed, thunder roared, rain pelted down .... per weather radar, looks like the rain will hang around most of today .... 66 degrees in east central SD (same at home in central NC) on its way 71 later today .... breakfast is behind us, not much in front of us for the rest of today

Cloudy and 61 with a high of 75. Wind is still blowing but not as hard as the last few days. Rained last night and we could get a little more this afternoon. Everybody have a great day!

Cooler here today started out at 58 and only to the mid 70's. Better than 96 on Tuesday for the bike ride tonight.

Southern CT is still foggy with low clouds in the grey skies, but it will become partly sunny as the day progresses. The last full day of Spring will feel more like a summer day with increased humidity and temps in the low eighties. Enjoy your day.

Sitting on mom's front porch as not to wake my relatives who are here that are still asleep. There's a nice gentle rain with a few sounds of thunder in the distance I find oddly comforting. No coffee as if yet. I've had a cough that's getting annoying and hoping that I haven't picked up the virus in my travels. I don't have any other symptoms so hope all is well.

Good ole Folgers right now and somehow I let my wife talk me into taking her into town for some patio furniture shopping.

we awoke to a beautiful 61 degree morning in east central South Dakota on its way to 71 later today with a 0% chance of rain .... wind down to 7 mph (for out here that's pretty dang calm) .... breakfast is behind us and a fun day is on tap with relatives who have come to camp with us for the weekend ....

Hallelujah, wind finally quit gusting after 2 weeks. 61, sunny with a high of 73. One set off grandkids coming today, nerf gun wars and a trip to the range with the Muddy Girl. Everybody have a great day.

56° and cloudy on the mountain. 1st cup down, and waiting for the cook to get up. No major plans today. I will be shooting the new AK pistol again. I can't get enough of this thing. Just ordered a case of loaded ammo. That wasn't easy. It seems nobody has any.
I haven't been hearing anybody shooting up here for the past 2 weeks.
Just me making noise. It doesn't feel right. I'm guessing everybody is conserving ammo. Crazy times. Cheers!

we awoke this morning with the sound of rain on the roof .... that came as a surprise because when we went to bed last night they were forecasting a 5% chance of rain this morning .... now they are showing 61 degrees with an 80% chance of rain through noon .... 72 later today with a 40% chance of rain though late afternoon .... we are off to a slow start but the Folgers is already flowing ....

Coffee and Oreo's this morning.
Getting this dental work done is becoming a bitch. When the Dentist was taking impressions he broke the top
off a tooth exposing a nerve. Biting down is like biting into a live wire. Then he got too rough and
lacerated my gums which got infected. Went to the Surgeon a couple days ago and he put me on antibiotics for a week.
On the 30th I go in for the surgery. Hope it goes well. So far it's not been fun.

Got a Father's Day card from my oldest daughter yesterday. I adopted her. and she is the love of my life right after my wife.
The card showed a little girl, probably about four, with a broken trike. She's sitting there with a socket wrench, and
there is a string of swear cymbals emanating from her mouth. I opened the card and on the inside it says, "I learned from
an expert, love you Dad".

Love her to pieces.
