interesting morning .... 61 back home in central NC, 74 here in east central NC .... wind is still the order of the day as stated by this weather statement, "South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected" .... with the camper's AC's cranking out cool air, the Folgers is flowing freely through a Henry mug

50 and rain, rain, rain, and then, some more rain. It’s been an incredibly wet spring this year for us. One advantage is I just re-graveled my drive with a 1 1/4” minus rock. The rain is washing the fines down nicely!

Another cup of Folgers and then I’m taking my wife to the dentist to have two posts installed. Poor her.

Sunny and 75?right now, a high of 92 is expected. A wind advisory has been issued for our area, oh goody!!! Every body have a great day.

About 70 right now but headed to nineties this afternoon with bright sun. Got to get the outside work done this
morning.
Yesterday was a bummer. Was just getting settled at the computer with coffee and Oreo's when Carol
interrupted my solace with the news that there was no water pressure. Just had a new pressure tank installed,
so I figure it's probably the pump. Recycled the breaker for the pump and all the lights went out. Master
breaker tripped and would not reset. I'm not an electrician and that high voltage stuff scares me.
Finally found an electrician who would come out to the sticks and he came out and had things going again
in half an hour. Not sure exactly what he did though. $150.00.
Meanwhile I had got our portable 7000 watt generator out and had it running so the Wife could work online.
Next I got the Motorhome out and took it up the road to a neighbors and filled the tank with water. (I figured
we'd probably spend the night in there with the AC running. It had sat dormant since mid March when we
got back from the South.
Once I got the Motorhome I plugged her drop cords into it and let the Quiet Diesel genset power the house.
The portable genset is really noisy.
Wasn't long after that that the electrician got things running again. So then I put everything away.

The downside is the electrician told us out breaker box was an old brand that there are no longer parts for.
Also considered a fire hazard. Soooo... looks like a new box will be installed soon. $2500.00.

Hope today goes better.

Got home yesterday around 2 in the afternoon. Feeling really tired. Warm morning in the 70 degree range. Got my haircut and car washed. Going to relax the rest of the day. Tomorrow eye injections and Thursday will be headed back to Bartlesville.

50's and 60's this week, with thunderstorms hanging around. Guess Calgary got pounded with hail on weekend. Some the size of baseballs. Lots of damage. We just got monsoon rains. Better than too dry.

Rain and 52° on the mountain. It's getting real old. 1st cup of dark roast coffee down, and waiting on breakfast. Plans today include sizing a lot of brass. Got rained out on our range day yesterday. Looks like a repeat of yesterday. Cheers!

another hot, windy day on tap for east central NC .... 71 right now on its way to 90 later today .... we've been here a week and have had more 90 degree days than we had last year during the 3 months we were here .... the good news is, today should be the last 90 degree for a good while .... there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms/rain .... after a good breakfast of eggs, sausage, sliced tomato, and Folgers we are relaxing inside watching the wind whip the trees

Yahoo, supposed to by dry today. Planning on continuing a mowing/spraying project I have been working on in between rain storms. Light fog with sun streaming thru, love these mornings. This is supposed to be the start of several days of sunshine and more seasonal temps.

Gonna enjoy my coffee for another hour or so and then get at it!

55° and overcast on the mountain. 1st cup of coffee in the Gadsen Flag mug down, and the cook ain't up yet. Plans for the day are to shoot my new Century Arms Draco AK-47 Pistol. This will be my new truck/SXS gun , and range toy. 7.62x39.
