Re: NASCAR 2020
There will be a random draw for the next five NASCAR Cup Series races. For races at Bristol (May 31), Atlanta (June 7), Martinsville (June 10), Miami (June 14) and Talladega (June 21), the lineup will be determined in the following way:
• Positions 1-12: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
• Positions 13-24: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
• Positions 25-36: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
• Positions 37-40: Open teams in order of owners points

Re: NASCAR 2020
both pre and post races shows have most certainly changed .... the biggest thing I miss is seeing the excitement in the winner's circle .... during the race itself the cameras spend very little time focused on the fans so, for me, empty stands haven't been a major issue .... NASCAR is clearly doing everything it can to limit personal contact .... without the crowds they have to be experiencing a major drop in income .... it seems reasonable that cutting expenses (like practice and qualifying) are well justified
Re: NASCAR 2020
Well, that lets me out. I don't get FS1. I could go on a rant about that, but I'll let it slide.

Re: NASCAR 2020
I do, but most likely won't be near a tv.
You'd think that if ya ain't gonna let people watch it live that they'd put it on a channel that most could watch if they wanted to.
Then wonder why their ratings aren't any better than they are.

I agree. It's the only major sport going on at the time and let everyone watch it. The only thing I can think of why they are not is probably commitments to honor previous contracts to other shows. Fox needs more sub-channels. NBC gives us antenna guys five.

Re: NASCAR 2020
I know how that is, lol, but you can always do what I do, run Battle Cam on one, Live Leader Board on another, Lap by Lap on a third all while having MRN (or PRN) Radio on at the same time. Not bad coverage all for free. In some ways it's better although it's nice when it's on TV.

Re: NASCAR 2020
the race can also be followed with a live leader board and in car cameras on NASCAR.com .... the live leader board is free, unsure about the cameras
Re: NASCAR 2020
Fox has 3 channels here ( 2 sub ). They are losing thousands of viewers, sponsor exposure. Still they cry over viewership.
Brilliant!
I'll check out the 'net & see what pops up.
Of course, I can always sit in the truck 4 hrs on XM.
First Bristol race I've missed in quite a while.

Re: NASCAR 2020
Brad Keselowski will start on the pole in the Team Penske No. 2 Ford and be joined on the front row by Stewart-Haas Racing’s Aric Almirola to lead the field to green for the 500-lap, 266.5-mile race.

Re: NASCAR 2020
Hey All,
Two fer Brad I luv it and I believe this is a contract year for him...
Been a fan of Brad ever since he "learned" Carl Edwards. Bummer for Joey and Chase but good to see 7-time in 3rd. Wish Kevin had done better tho.
Always a good day when Gibbs teams don't win place or show.

Re: NASCAR 2020
Didn't see a lap, but sure hate to hear the Keselowski won again, can't stand him or his sissy team mate sliced bread.
Glad to see ole 7 time didn't win though and hope he goes out with a Big 0 in the win column in his Thank the Good Lord last year.
As to the Gibbs team I hope one of them wins the Coach another Championship Trophy at the end of the year.

Hey All,
Everyone is welcome to their opinion. Differences of opinion are what make horse races. Best thing ever happened to Joey was escaping Gibbs. It would be cool to see Jimmie win number 8.

Re: NASCAR 2020
I was just happy to see a race that wasn’t boring from green to checkers.
Load on Sunday and Shoot all Week.......okay it's a Mare's Leg I will reload on Wednesday.
Re: NASCAR 2020
Well, didn't get to see the race, but did get a video clip of the finish. G;ad to see Brad win, tough about Joey & Chase, good to see
Clint back up front again. Best part was Kyle didn't win. Now he can whine all week. ( Sorry RP, just can't stand the guy )
And yes, this is Brads' contract year. No talks so far. Can't see Roger letting him go, but never know where moneys' involved.
