New x model at the range

Post by Jerrysea » Mon May 25, 2020 12:05 pm

I was finally able to take this new gun to the range.
Here are pictures of some of the first shots. This was 25 yards at 6 inch paper plates.
I think the gun is shooting a little high at this range.
I did have some feed problems. Think this was due to new gun and new lever action shooter. Had two brands of 357. One was jacketed hollow points. Other jacketed flat nose. .38 specials were fmj hollow points.
Side gate also was a little tough loading. Again believe because it is new and tight.
Not sure when I am going to be able to shoot this rifle again because I am going back to dentist soon to get final work done on the right side of my mouth.
Some of the shots were with rest on range bag. Some standing.

Thanks for the range report. Nice job for the first time out with a new rifle. I look forward to the next time you get to the range.

Good luck with the dentist.
