Picked this up to aid the ol' eyes. Actually shoots very good like most 1911's. This one is in .45

sharp looking 1911 ... how would you rate the level of felt recoil ??

To me its more of a heavy push back. Not snappy or sharp. My snubnose .38 is sharp like like grabbing the edge of a piece of angle iron real hard. Its probably just the grip size but definitely different. My G21 is a large grip and the push is there but it doesn't fit my hand the same as a 1911. I prefer the 1911's I have.
