Range report sort of...

Post by RanchRoper » Fri Jul 08, 2016 10:54 pm

Felt like shooting but too tired tonight to go to the range. Sooo...set up a crate in the corral, and shot the Red Ryder and my early 60's Daisy "Spittin' Image" Colt. Haha! Some good fun for sure. 20 yds off hand with rifle and 10 yds with pistol. Gotta move fast at 10 yds cuz those BB's bounce back at ya!! :D

Beats not shooting at all!

My wife and I were shooting the pellet gun in the backyard the other evening. Filled up some empty plastic bottles with water and set them on a sawhorse. We really enjoyed it.

As far as I'm concerned a range report is about propelling an object down range, taking pictures of it and talking about it.

Nice work! I am glad that you made the post. I am sure that the mention of the Red Ryder brought back memories for many of us. It has been a long time since I shot an air rifle. How did it feel? Were you able to manage the recoil? ;)
