I've enjoyed the iracing series letting top drivers from other series compete.
Joey Logano had a run this week in the Aussie V8 series. Not sure if he has done much simulator or iracing previously as he really struggled, Alexander Rossi from Indy had a run as well running mid pack or higher. He has actually done a few real races down under last season. Marcos Ambrose made a come back last round as well but could only manage mid pack.

The best from most series seem to be able to swap and be competitive running at the front.
Max verstappen did a round of the v8'series and was in the top 3 each race. Lando Norris did 2 Indy races winning one and taken out while leading the other. Our reigning champ from down under Scott McLaughlin ran all 6 Indy i races, winning 2 and 5 top 5 finishes, would have been 6 but taken out while dicing for the lead.

Are they gonna let the fans come in?
NASCAR says the initial events will be without attendance in the stands.
The last few years they haven't been able to fill them anyway.

"NASCAR issued a wide-ranging technical bulletin Friday afternoon, with updates on areas of competition impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as safety enhancements for future races following the findings from a study into the last-lap wreck of the 2020 Daytona 500."

They should let the fans come. As many as they are allowed to. I bet with everyone staying home and wanting to just go do something there would be more there than we think.

Great to see North Wilkesboro back in the news, even if it's just iRacing:

Glad that they're doing that. Some of these old, no longer run tracks are really neat. I don't have that one on my simulator, but do have the Rockingham track. I pulled it up & ran it some. Really fun track to race on. Shame no one showed up & they had to close.
Same with the Nashville Superspeedway. attendance just wasn't there.

Rockingham and North Wilkesboro were great tracks and had good attendance, but they were bought up for their dates.

Rockingham was making a comeback and were running some lower level races, but it never re-developed.

North Wilkesboro had talk now and then, but that's about it. Someone did a video or picture report on it a while back and mother nature has pretty much taken it over. There was a lot of great history there though.

The first major sport to step forward with action.

Will be different, but it's a start.

We finally get a race today at Darlington. No qualifying, no practice. Blind start, should make for an interesting few first laps.
Can't wait to see how the pit stops maintain 6' social distancing. The track to tough to tame is hard enough as is, LOL

Byron too, bad day for Hendricks so far. Bowman still left.

Chase seems to have a strong car but speeding on pit road has put him deep in the field
