Our Morning Coffee and Weather

40 this morning and going to the sixties today with sunshine, then clouding over tonight and scattered rain tomorrow. We really need it.

My youngest son, who is 51, and has been lost to me for a long time, called me out of the blue yesterday. We had a disagreement about six years ago and he cut off all communication between us. We haven't known where he and his family were, or what they were doing for all that time. Then yesterday, he called. My first thought was that he needed something, but no, we just had a friendly conversation for almost an hour. It's a long story.

Just happy to know they're OK.

49 on its way to 71 later today in central NC .... light rain falling that is supposed to hang around until just before noon .... off to a slow start this morning, Folgers flowing freely through a Henry mug .... it appears that hauling off our trash may well be the highlight of our day ....

40° and light rain here on the mountain. Just finished .my 1st cup of dark roast coffee. Sure is good first thing in the morning. I will probably continue working on my Honda Pioneer 1000 today. I've been working on installing/fabricating brackets to hold a small bilge blower to remove heat in the summer time. Thing gets hot in the cab. I've already designed a heat shield under the seat. Yesterday I finally got the blower installed where I want it, and now I have to take the whole thing apart so I can paint the metal bracketry. I don't want to take it down, because I'm sore from head to toe from the work yesterday. Sucks getting old. Used to do this stuff for a living. Anywho, Cheers!

73° this morning early. Only supposed to get up to 84°. Got my eyes poked this morning so need to let them settle down before I go to the range. I almost forgot the appointment. May have to wait until tomorrow. We'll see.

Suppin on first cup of coffee. I think I'm a tad like my ancient little Massey Ferguson diesel tractor. Although it's best work days are past it, it will still start up and run, and do work. Granted , there is some smoking and clattering when you first try to turn over the motor. Maybe my coffee i need in the morning is like a little shot of ether in the breather.... anyway, this morning looks like all my cylinders are going to fire.....eventually.....

warmer 57 degree, partly cloudy morning on its way to 80 later today with a 0% chance of rain .... no real hurry to get up and at'um .... towing our boat to the local repair shop this morning .... later today a couple of hours will be spent getting our camper ready for spending the weekend with our camping club

I guess we won't be doing a lot of RVing this summer. We tried to get reservations in northern Minnesota for a wedding, but the campground is closed because of the virus and won't take any reservations. Winnebago has already cancelled their Grand National Rally that is held in July. Usually about 1100 RVs there. I am going to get our boat ready for some fishing this summer though.

VFW cup this morning. Doughnuts again too.

I'll be eighty this fall and my teeth are worn out. No tooth ache but they're not much good for chewing, so I was supposed to have implants and plates installed last month. Of course the virus shut them down. Tuesday a tooth broke off and now I have some pain. Coincidentally I have an appointment today to beginning the process of implants and plates. I thought that this process was too expensive for us, but we purchased the Dental Insurance offered under Medicare, and surprisingly it pays really well. For all of you on Medicare check it out. Medicare is paying nearly three forth of the cost.

sVery sunny morning, 53 warming up to 67 today. Couple of grandkids spent the night. Want me to make homemade doughnuts, this should be an adventure, they are 7 & 9 and very helpful.lol
