What do the personal mask actually prevent?

I believe in freedom of choice. I wear a mask but don’t mind if others don’t. I just try to stay a little farther away.

We all breathe off moisture which is evident on a cold day. Masks do little to prevent that but they do catch talk spit and that is good enough for me.

Well said Gene. That was my point also. I just have one question through all this . The flu pneumonia and other pandemics in the past never resulted in wearing masks. There was a pandemic during a time in the mid 50's that killed alot of people 116000 in the US alone. No masks came out of that or the last pandemic about 10 years ago. Id say 116000 people is something that must have been pretty contagious

I'm with RR, if won't let me in your business without one I will go somewhere else and never set foot in that business again.
Just like the ones that don't want legally carried guns in their stores. I never shop there, either.
If you are trying to infringe on my God given or constitutional rights I won't spend my money in your business ever.
