Hello from ID
Hello all! New to the Henry lever gun world. I've read and heard about them for some time. I was in search of a lever gun to go with a Ruger Vaquero color case hardened (looks like, but really isn't) in 45 Colt that I have. My search ended with the Big Boy color case hardened (H012CCC) in 45 Colt. There isn't any in stock locally, so I ordered one yesterday.
I hadn't considered a Henry in a few years. But re-reading about and watching some videos about the company inspired me to revisit the purchase of a Henry. I did not know about the Rice Lake plant until this week. I grew up a bit NE of there and geographically speaking, memories of family conversations from my youth fostered a bit of nostalgia. So I read some more and watched more videos. I convinced myself that I must have a Big Boy CCH in 45 Colt!
I anxiously await a call from my LGS.....

Welcome from Nebraska. CCC45...Yeah. That’s gonna be fun.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
