New Hip Incentive

Post by ESquared » Tue May 05, 2020 3:04 pm

I don't know if it was the COVID situation (you never know...), or what, but I got another bug (so to speak) and have this sitting in my garage, waiting for me to recover enough to hop on and ride a real deal again.
Leftover 2019 Bonneville T100. Waxed TWICE while lounging in my garage for the past couple of weeks. It won't be long...

I've tried everything I can think of, and can't get them oriented the right way, which is odd, because I took the pics in standard upright mode. Can someone orient them for me, please? You'd think a deputy marshall would know such things...

Pics look good, to me. Good looking bike. I know you're anxious, it'll come.

Looks like a 650 Evan. You are falling back in time to your youth. I had a Triumph once but the dealer here stinks and I got rid of it.

Back in the day I wanted a Triumph Bonneville. Then they were a twin 650 cc bike. I was saving up for one for my 16th birthday.

I have to turn my phone 90 degrees to get the pictures upright when downloading here. Nice bike, hope you can ride it soon.

Thanks, men! They've boosted it up to 900cc, made it air-cooled and added ABS, traction control, a few tech goodies.

The local dealer here is solid, been around just about as long as I have. Will get on it soon!

Good lookin' bike Evan, you should be cruzin' before long.
We've had some good days here ,but

Hopefully you and your weather will be suitable around the same time.
Waiting to hear how she handles for ya.

I think you might be right, Al. My very first bike (@ 16 y/o) was an upright twin, a Honda CB 360, in a cream/orange/black paint scheme. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven. This Triumph takes me back, so you're right on!

5 miles on it, and two coats of wax, so it comes by it honestly! Thanks, Mark! Hope you're doing well. Will call you soon!

Looks good John. Mark thats a Honda F6B. 2013 Its basically a Goldwing with no trunk. I bought it used in 2015 had 5k on it. Only has 11 on it now. I dont ride it to much. But it handles like a sport bike. Best bike I have ever owned.

Some beautiful bikes, Al and John! They couldn't be more different, but I had a GW a while back (with a trunk) and it was quite a machine!

Very cool Interceptor, John. Such a classic. Thanks for sharing!
