Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 58°at daybreak. The temperature will rise into the mid-sixties in CT today with sunshine and a steady breeze. Finished the usual Instant Breakfast drink and watching Paige roll on the floor with her catnip sachet bag. Enjoy your day.

53° out. Only 3/10" of an inch of rain overnight, so not to bad. I do have some cleanup, but it could be worse. 1st cup of dark roast down. Had to chase the dog up the range in my slippers this morning, cuz he was on the trail to something. He doesn't know he's coyote bait, or hawk bait. He's only 5 lbs, almost completely deaf. Getting ready to cook up some sausage, hash browns with ramps, eggs and toast. My son brought is over a bunch of ramps yesterday.
Cheers all.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Hey Grunt,it got here about 3:30, and about 3 or 4 mins before the rain got here the power went out.
Wind blowing and pouring rains, then all calmed down then just before 6 the hail came down about like the rain for a couple mins.
Larger than a quarter, then an eery fog across the back yard, couldn't even see the trailer or the gongs.
Didn't get power til close to 8 PM.

RP, I had 1/2" size hail. 2 more big trees down in back yd.
1.6" rain, power off 3 hrs.
More on the way today, they say. I'll be cutting trees till frost.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee and my Oreo's this morning. I managed to really strain my lower back somewhere along the way,
so I'm in a take it easy mode for a while. I'm always in a hurry to get things done so this is hard for me.
Still have a lot of yard work, that will have to wait a few days.
Looks like you folks in Tennessee a the states around had some bad weather. Hope you're all OK.

Dogs got me up at the usual time. It was a very muggy 74° degrees with highs to be in the mid 90's today.

27, frost and fog. What happened, is it December?
Supposed to hit 60+ with temps to the upper 70’s by the weekend. Been up for 1.5 hours and it’s still foggy. Better pour another cup of Folgers and enjoy my recliner for a bit longer.

Finished my coffee, went to finish cleaning out that cabinet. Found 500 rounds of .45 LC brass and a petrified half eaten sandwich. You just never know.
