I think this is the mindset throughout the world, not just in Canadian.

Re: Canadian Gun News
My state of CT has had similar restrictions for quite a while, long before I started shooting.

Re: Canadian Gun News
It is what it is, long guns are not registered so I don't know how they will know who has what. At any rate, old cowboy guns are not on the radar for now, and I can't see it. Going shooting tomorrow!

Re: Canadian Gun News
In CT, people who already owned what would become restricted guns and large capacity magazines were allowed to keep and use them (by declaring them), but once the restrictions went into effect, no new purchases were permitted.

Yep. What was once good is not as good any more. I imaging fishing and growing a gardening is not too generations away from being history.CT_Shooter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 8:36 pmMy state of CT has had similar restrictions for quite a while, long before I started shooting.

As we all know, this is an ongoing battle. Been going on in the US longer than I an remember, most likely. Obviously, same in
our friends to the north, Canada.
Not much else to say, that hasn't been said a million times. Vote & hope for the best.

Re: Canadian Gun News
Well, certainly hunting and fishing are already strictly regulated here. So is gardening; but if it weren't for the pandemic, the legislature would very likely have voted to allow growing cannabis. But for now, that's the only crop we're not allowed to grow.
