Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Strong storms moved through here early morning. The power was out for about two hours, came on, and then went off again for about another hour. It's back on now but still raining. Lots of tree branches down in the front yard. I've got some cleaning up to do later. Right now it's a rain cooled 63°. Already started work.

Cloudy, very windy, storms headed this way. Good day to stay in my man cave, clean guns, reload some ammo.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Weather here can't make up its mind. Been pretty warm/hot the last week, today, cool and overcast. Well, I'll go out and start some yard work. That will bring the sun out! Out.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
They are talking about tens of thousands of hogs to be euthanized. Seems like if you could get it killed and field dressed you could pack one in dry ice and take it home to process it. Really a shame.
There is a farmer in Northfield offering to sell individual hogs.

Cleaned the Henry, finished the 100 batch of 9mm, changed my setup to the 45/70, decapped the brass. Ready for the tumbler tomorrow. Not a bad day I guess.
Weather didn't cooperate to work outside. Rain & cool, cloudy.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
had trouble breathing when I awoke this morning .... only took a second or so to figure out my CPAP machine was off .... looking around confirmed that the power was off ..... going out to fire up the generator in our camper I found no wind/lighting/thunder and relatively light rain .... heavy storms just to our west are moving our way and appear to be going to hang around for a while .... got the camper's coffee maker going, breakfast will be delayed .

I know exactly what that's like. When my last CPAP began to fail, it would just shut down after a random amount of time and eventually, I'd wake up panting for breath. I hope the rest of your day goes a bit better.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
45° and no rain presently, but it rained 3" over night. It rained hard up here. While taking my dog out, I took a quick survey of the property and it all looks ok. 1st cup of Joe down, and it's my day to cook breakfast. Sausage, egg, cheese and toast.
No big plans today, probably going to start the reloading process of the brass I tumbled yesterday. I had 3 different brands of brass to sort. My son was giving his spent brass to me. Now however he traded his .223. I can't complain because I got about 500 spent cartridges from him. Cheers!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee and cinnamon toast this morning.
Bright sunshine and warmer temps this morning. Seventy this afternoon. Then it just gets better. SPRING IS HERE FINALLY!
Yard work today and maybe some driveway repair. Couple more days and it should be done. We got a half inch of rain yesterday.
Got the AC installed in my shop yesterday so I'm ready for hot weather. Got the Motor Home put away for the Summer so I'll be home to putz a lot in the shop. We used to take a few small trips in the Summer, but everything is still closed down, so...........
Hopefully by Oct the Blue Grass concert will be on. Love that one. Park in a horse pasture and sit in the woods listening to the likes of Ricky Skaggs last year. Also Doyle Lawson. Don't know who will be there this year yet.
For three days they have over fifty different groups perform.

Had my pot of coffee and heading to the range to see what my 22 Frontier will do at 100yds and get a sight setting for an upcoming silhouette match. Just hope they don't cancel it again.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
58 and sunny highs in the 70’s. Made the cheesecake yesterday and was all set to have a piece for lunch but no. My daughter asked if she could have it to give to the town RFD. Her daughter’s birthday was last week and of course because of COVID-19 she couldn’t have friends over for a party. So the RFD showed up to the house with lights flashing and sirens blaring. My granddaughter was ecstatic. It really made her day so I guess I can give up the cheesecake to a special RFD.
