Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Oh yeah, I went the twelve miles to the Home Depot yesterday to pick up my AC for the shop. I had one of those order on line and park in the pick up area, and they will bring it out to you. So I did, but the parking lot was packed with cars and the store was teeming with customers. Anyway, they brought it right out to me just as advertised.

So much for social distancing. It was in the seventies yesterday and Minnesotans were out in force everywhere. Now if the virus is really not gone we should see a gigantic spike in cases soon.

My Wife has been advising clients to wait to sign papers until the epidemic is past, but two of her clients insisted that they get the documents signed yesterday. They said with so much death they needed it done just in case. OK, I was working in the yard when they rode in on their Harley's. Both man and wife had their own bikes, and get this, they were both wearing masks as they rode down the highway. Once here the gentleman took off his mask and lit a pipe. He kept a respectable distance from me as he smoked a bowl full, and then he put his mask back on and went in to the office.

Now that's social distancing.

Warm again today, about to have breakfast, some coffee and maybe a little music. Jim mentions his Carolina skies. Hmm, maybe some Marshall Tucker Band, "Carolina Dreams" and "Where we all belong". Yeah, that'll work! Think I'll be a bit lazy today.

Very windy this morning and warm--79°. We were supposed to get some locally severe thunderstorms during the early morning hours but didn't get a drop. Now the weather is forecasting thunderstorms for this evening. I guess they'll get it right sometime. Anyway, getting ready to work on a clarinet overhaul.

Saw a Facebook post of a yellow morel found in W Virginia that was 15" around and 11" long. WOW, blacks are just starting here. Hope for a bumper crop with all the rain.

Wow! Watching the weather and it looks like you folks down in the south are getting hammered this morning. Been there done that. Hope everyone is OK.

Windy and cool this AM. Supposed to clear up later today and get up to the sixties at least.

Pig farmers up here are getting ready to kill thousands of hogs and bury them because the packing plants have all shut down.
That's going to be a big problem in the future for the food chain. If I could I would purchase a hog and butcher it myself, but
we don't have the freezer space right now. We do have a farmer not far away that is trying to sell some to the public.

Coffee and Oreo's this AM and if I watch the "Pioneer Woman" drinking coffee and reading email, does that make me a girly man?

What a Damn waste, something should be done about that.
Just plain ignorant, and makes me mad.
And now the government wants to buy cheap African and Argentinian beef.
They are truly trying hard to run this country into the ground.
