SKS Day
My son brought his new Rifle today, and we had fun sighting it in, and running it through the paces. Man is that thing accurate. It's a SKS yougoslovian made rifle. 7.63x39 I think. I'm not up to date on those rounds, but with the irons it was dead on at 50 yds. I also shot my WW SRC AR15. We had a blast. It sure is nice, that my youngest boy likes guns like dad. Here's some pictures. I didn't take any of the targets demise. Sorry.

That's a great looking rifle! I have an old Romanian SKS that looks like it was drug behind a pickup... But man that thing is a tough old tack driver. I'm glad that you guys had fun. It looks like it was a beautiful day out at the range.

That is a nice looking place for sure. Likin' the rifles also. Close private type ranges are the best.

I have a Norinco model that many years ago, I put a Monte Carlo synthetic stock on.
I actually took a bear with it on one outing. About a 50 yard head shot.

All looking good there, Moe. Love your place there on the mtn, makes me envious. Great that your son is carrying on an old family tradition. Just had to throw that in there, LOL.
Take care, brother.......

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Needless to say, did not require a second shot. Instant humane kill right where he was.dasmoeturhead wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 3:42 pmI have no doubt you did.
