Interesting question. Not sure it could be done other than with some kind of clamping around the barrel/mag tube/forestock. Would likely have to be custom made. Maybe too simplistic. A Velcro strap over the barrel. Holding your choice of grip. Using padding to protect the forearm wood?

If you want to save the original you could get another one from Henry and experiment with that. I can't come up with an idea that would be stable and not affect the looks or integrity of the for end.
