Another Battle Scar!

Post by Mistered » Sat Apr 18, 2020 9:16 pm

Cleaning out one of my vehicles today (4Runner) and while blowing out dust from the driver's side I spun around and backed out and smacked the upper corner of the door with the left side of my nose and laid open about a 1/2" gash!

I applied pressure for a few minutes and taped it closed and may have to glue it shut with super glue!

Just another scar to add to the many!

Oh man I agree!

A better one was a couple years ago while I was in a hurry to get to a birthday party and while on the way stop at a pawn shop to make an offer on a classic Smith & Wesson revolver at closing time - cheap shot but always a good angle as they can make a sale at the end of the day.

OK - so getting out of the shower and moving too quickly through my living room I laid my left foot (last two toes) into my lava rock pad for my wood stove!

It brought me to my knees and they were both cranked off to the left unnaturally.

Obviously broken I got myself together and pulled them both forward to reset them!

I taped them up, made it to the pawn shop and to the birthday party on time but later than night my foot was about twice its size.

It healed ok with no further problems.

I actually have a pic of this if anyone is a masochist and would like to see!
