DIY spray case lube.

Post by Ojaileveraction » Sun Apr 12, 2020 8:49 am

I ordered a 1/2 liter 5% pure denatured ethyl alcohol and pure lanolin to make my own case lube.
By volume 10% pure lanolin and 90% alcohol.
Lanolin arrives next week, alcohol will take a month with special shipping requirements.
I'll use the spray bottles I already have.

Edit
I received the lanolin and I know many of you worry about this.
The lanolin is gluten free.

I know several here like the...
Nosler Bonded Performance Bullets 30 Caliber (308 Diameter) 168 Grain Protected Point Solid Base Box of 100 bullets.
Midway has them at half price right now.

Nope been raining pretty much all day, sometimes extremely hard.
Only stepped out on the deck and let one 45 colt go at the gong. Bang, Ding. :o
Came back in and went back to loading some more 45's.
Found a pound of Clays in the very back of the powder cabinet,
no idea how long it's been back there.
So I loaded 25 45's from 4.3,to 5.1, 5.1 being the Max.
Then I loaded the rest of the clean 45 brass, 50 pcs. with my normal Unique load.
Then stopped for a Pizza break, and catchin' up here.

Flared & started priming, 100 pcs. 9mm brass. Nothing to do outside, rained all day.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.
