Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather

.. the good thing about the weather alert on my wife's phone is it will wake you up .... the bad thing about the weather alert on my wife's phone is it will really wake you up .... 58 on its way to 81 later today ..
.. its supposed to only get up to 60 tomorrow .... breakfast and coffee came early this morning
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Regular roller coaster riding in KC area.
UP. Yesterday some cities south of metro KC reached 92* with high humidity. Decided not to run the A/C during Easter week, so opened house windows and got the fans out. Temp in my room was definitely summer-like at 88*.
DOWN. Overnight temp plummeted 49* and it is now 43*. Possibly will reach below freezing one of the next two nights.
Nice spring weather we're having here.

Thanks Al, I do myself. Says he's still sick this morn.
Going back over to my daughter's and see what I can help with today.
Mid 50's when I got up and they say only mid 60's later.

Might hit 50's today. Snow pretty much gone except the high country.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Cold wind today and I guess the rest of the week. At least it's not snowing.
Coffee and Cheerios with strawberries.
Left my Explorer at the dealer to replace the left rear wheel bearing. Should get it back today.
Took the Wife's VW and finally went to my buddies house to retrieve my guns. Whenever we go on a prolonged trip I take the most valuable guns, along with my favorites to his place. He has a walk in vault. Nice.
I figure we might get broken in, but they won't get much if they do.

I've found that the Kreueg brewer using the "fill your own" inserts and a heaping dose of espresso grind makes very drinkable coffee.

Walked out in the back yard this afternoon. Lots of big limbs & one large dead tree on the ground. Few shingle flaps off the shed roof. Dang, I can't get caught up with this stuff. 55 to 60 mph winds they said.
