That was very entertaining, especially @ the 40 second mark It was interesting that he didn't have one kick-back, bet he did when he first experimented with his method. An extremely sharp chain would require less effort for certain. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it does. When I was younger and in much better condition, I did a little free hand ripping on smaller logs than what they're doing in the video. A ripping chain makes it a little easier to control, but it's still a lot of very strenuous work. And if you're doing this out in the woods, you have to pack in everything - gas, oil, various other tools, food, water (unless you're setting up near some), a gun and ammo, tent, etc. You're gonna be there for awhile if you're building a cabin this way.
