What a great movie, watched it last night for the umpteenth time. With Selleck @ 6' 4" they had quite a height difference. She was the perfect actress for the part. "She sure looks pretty in the morning sun"...in the dark too!!

Does anyone know the final selling price?
I love the movie but I cringe every time I watch Quigley ride into Perth at dawn with the sun rising .... in the west.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Re: Movie babes
Laura San Giacomo is a versatile actress and was wonderful in Quigley Down Under. I also enjoyed her role as Nadine Cross in the Stephen King Made for TV Mini-series, The Stand.
The book and the mini-series are both very compelling. I'm a King fan and enjoyed both of them. The last release of the book is unedited, longer, and has a very different ending, as King intended all along.

I am a SK fan as well and read The Stand as a short story long before the movie.

Having been there multiple times, I can certainly vouch for the toilet water flowing backwards. As for sunrise and sunset, I was usually not in any state to take notice of direction of travel...
