Shouldn’t they’ve calling it physical distancing?

True - and this was suggested by someone on a radio show one morning last week!

Makes much more sense considering we can still remain socially 'close' due to computers, cell phones etc.

Nice backyard range, RP. I'm envious.

Good to hear, as most ranges are closed or most likely will be.
Glad I have a private place. ;)

Never got to experience one.

Me either, the only true gun range I ever shot at, was when I took my carry permit class.
Next closet thing was two forum meet and greets.
Before, during and after all of those, I've had the pleasure of a personal/private range.
So call me spoiled/lucky.

Watch out for this:

Several other incidents of vehicles getting pulled over by police impersonators have been reported around the country

Funny thing, I always thought how great it would be to live in a place where I could shoot whenever I wanted. In 1983 I purchased that place. I don't shoot here. I enjoy seeing the deer and other wild life so I don't want to disturb them. Instead I belong to two gun ranges where I shoot. I'm planning to go to one and do some pistol shooting this morning.
