Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
29 with rain/wet snow/graupel coming in this afternoon. Went golfing yesterday and when I got home I forgot I needed to bring a load of firewood up from the shed. Sitting here feeling a bit cold and wishing I had a fire. Dummy!

Ya can't beat a panoramic view PW...nice!PatientWolf wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 7:10 amGoing to make my coffee and head back to the office. I’ve already started responding to the EU e-mails.
Looks like we are in for a cloudy day with rain later.
The view from the office should be ok though.

Oh yeah, ate all the Girl Scout trefoils along with some Oreo's on the trip. This morning I had Cheerios with strawberries.
We are kind of self quarantined right now. After all this traveling who knows what we might have contracted.
No problem though, we have a very good stockpile of food and TP.
We hadn't planned on being home yet, but when things started to happen we didn't want to get stranded somewhere
away from home. The motorhome gets kinda cramped after while.
Would usually go shooting on Tuesday morning, but all the ranges are closed right now.

Storms, thunder, lightning, heavy rain now. And my remote rain gauge has gone belly up. No way to measure.

Just a guess without a gauge, probably 3 to 4 ". Flash flood warning out for area.

48° & raining. Rained pretty hard all night. Dogs in my lap, having my dark roast coffee in the Gadsen Flag mug. That's a darn good start. Cheers!

CT will be under thick cloud cover today with widely scattered sprinkles and temps in the upper forties. Enjoy your day.

49 on its way to 58 later today .... rain moved through last night and are now down east at the NC coast .... we sure miss the 80 degree days we had while in Texas .... the good news is they aren't calling for much of a chance of rain for the next 10 days ... eggs, bacon, loading up on Folgers to start the day
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Just finished breakfast with first mug of my double mocha. A little lazy in the culinary dept this morning. So had a bowl of Rice Chex with vanilla soy milk, 1/2 banana, a peanut butter breakfast bar, and my always tasty glass of water. Definitely lazy!
Heading for a second mug of double mocha.
In the 40s now, predicted to be a sunny day with high temp near 70*. Will enjoy another outside walk this afternoon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Same here. We came home a week early and are now self isolating. Dreary day today. 40 degrees with drizzle and maybe some wet snow tonight.
Oh well, I'll work in my shop today which I did miss while we were on the road.
Coffee in my MACV mug this AM with Oreo's again. Back to normal.
Sure did have a good trip though.
