I just saw the ad for this and watched a trailer!

Looks good and in the tradition of 'classic' adventure movies I always enjoyed when younger. Heck It kind of looks kind of 'Walt DIsney-ish' in a way but that's not a bad thing!

Harrison Ford looks like he aces the lead role!

I want to see this. Enjoyed the book as a lad. There have been 6 or 7 movies based on the book and one TV series. I've seen them all.

Call of the Wild, by Jack London.
It was the first book I read as a kid.
Absolutely loved that book.
Can't wait to see the movie.
I've always liked Harrison Ford.

Good story for sure. I find some of the movie CGI stuff distracting these days, maybe it's just me.

Well, finally watched it tonight.
The movie relies heavily on CGI however Harrison Ford brings a traditional 'human' character to the movie. The rest of the cast are somewhat superficial.
Because it is a Disney production it has that typical 'Disney' feel and appearance but lacks the 'depth' of the older, live action movies.
Give this one an hour and a half of your life on a lazy evening with nothing better to do!

We saw it at the theatre and enjoyed it, in spite of the computer generated characters and scenery. If you're looking for a super realistic and scientifically accurate portrayal of the far north, shot on location, this is not it. If you love dogs the way we do, though, it's a winner.
