Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well my partner is sick this morning so we didn't work.
So I spent a little time at the bench this morning got 226 41 mag cases sized and primed.
Around 100 more to go.

Decapped, sized, primed and neck expander 50 38sp cases.
Going exclusively 38sp cases in the '92 for a time ytbd.
Easier to get slower loads in a smaller case. At least I'm hoping.
38sp is originally a BP cartridge I believe.
First time I've used range brass to start.
Getting Starline now.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Nothing today, yet. I bought 50 pcs of Starline brass, & loaded up 5 for trial. Worked great, so I'll finish up the rest, maybe tomorrow.
Rain in the forecast, so it'll give me something to do.

Tim, that '92, is that a Rossi?
Grunt one small storm was just moved through here a little while ago,
expect it's headed your way.
While I was looking around on the shelf earlier I found a coffee can half full of primed 45 acp brass.
No telling how long they've been there.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
LOL, well, that happens. Usually if I find something I'm looking for, it's luck. The worst thing I can do, is put something where it belongs & can't find it. Comes with age, I reckon. Some say the only thing worse than getting older, is not getting older. So far, I haven't tried that.Vaquero wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 6:07 pmTim, that '92, is that a Rossi?

Seems like a lot of us are tumbling brass, loading and just staying indoors because of weather and that other pesky thing. I'll pick-up my Missouri 180's tomorrow, so, guess what I'll be up to?

I want to get some of those 180's.
I'd like to developed the '92 to shoot Pistol Caliber and Rifle Caliber Silhouette with mild loads.

Tim, I believe you'd really like those 180's for your '92. Accurate and hard hitting.

Been decapping 44's and 45acp's, getting ready for the new tumbler.
Just finished a bologna & cheese, time to load some 44's now.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Ordered Powder and primers. Figured only fun I will have now is shooting and didn't want to run out of supplies. Gonna work on the Henry lock block in the 41 when I get off work. Local guns stores are busy with background checks. Was a 15 min wait now 48 hour wait.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Sized and primed those 44's that I didn't get done yesterday.
Then was decapping a few others, knock at the door.
Looks like the media beat the tumbler here.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Yes, for the past 10 yrs, been a good one.
But after I saw my buddy Jim's rotary I've wanted one.
Just have so much of this other media I wanted to use up.
Now looking for someone to donate to,
wonder how it would work on maybe cleaning concrete of spilled oil?
If so I'll take it to my buddy Eric whose a mechanic.

It should work fine for oil, etc spills. You're going to love that stainless setup. Wish I had bought mine years earlier. Live & learn, LOL
