What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Set up my trimmer to trim some 45-70 cases. Gonna load up some plinkin torpedos. Those bowlin pins are gonna take some big lead.

Not at the bench but about ready to order 800 Oregon Trail Laser Cast .357, 158 grain SWC bullets.
Kind of a 'reverse' direction for me as I have been using plated for many years but I always got great accuracy with the Laser Cast bullets and the price is right!

Got some .357 and .45 acp brass cleaned up yesterday. Still have a big coffee can full of .44 Mag and Colt 45 to get to one day.

I hope not! The brass fresh out of the tumbler with crushed walnut. Does a great job and then all I do is swab them out with a cotton swab to get any walnut/carbon residue out of primer pocket.
Va. has 8 cases of the corona and those are in Northern and Tidewater areas....slowly making it's way down I-95 South.

Bought a spare Primer Arm for my press.
Now I can just slide a needed arm in or out.
Always afraid I'll drop and loose the spring changing between small and large primer sizes

My Lee turret press, and my Lee single stag, both came with a small and large primer arm.
Just like Lee die sets always come with a shell holder, unlike RCBS.

Very smart. My whole reloading came to a stop, when I didn't have the correct cup. Two days ago I was switching from large pistol to small rifle, and of course that little Spring decided to fly off under my pickup.Ojaileveraction wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:22 amBought a spare Primer Arm for my press.

Loading 45 ACP today. Local shop doesn't have any Alliant 2400 in stock yet.
