Wife agreed the bibs would (should) work well for me. She has been checking for a couple pairs to order for me to try them out. I could get away from the sweat pants. I would stay with the Duluth Trading Shirts though... Ts and flannels. Comfortable and long lasting.

Duluth Trading clothes are first class and there a first class customer service company just like Henry. I wear there shirts and pants all the time.

I always recommend their products, and folks will often whine about the pricing.
I tell them three things...

Great customer service, they stand behind their products.

Great products... You may pay a bit more, but I have T shirts that are more than five years old... the colors aren't as bold, but they are still comfortable, the pockets aren't sagging, and the necks don't droop.

Watch for sales... Buy two get one free. Buy one, get one half off, or spend xxx, get free shipping.
Sales rock.

Yup totally agree with everything you mention. I shop there sales. I had some of the Fire Hose pants the heavier ones. I usually buy the fire hose flex. Thought Id try the heavier ones. Bought 2 pair of them and dint care for them. They say here for a spell and I then returned them exchanging them for the flex. There wasnt any hesitation about them taking them back. No questions ask they exchanged them without a hitch. Havent tried there bibs yet but next time they have a sale I just might grab a pair

For something in between, try Carhartt. There not as stiff as the firehouse, but darn tough. I like there stretchable straps, and attachment type hooks. There just way to heavy for the warm wx.

With heading into summer, I agree. If bibs turn out to be comfortable, I will likely order three or four more pair, and of course, there will be winter weight.

Carrying my S&W M&P 9mm in the front pocket of my Bibs is working real good. Not sure how well it will work when it gets hot. When I'm working outside in the heat the bibs stay damp. So will the gun. I think any type of holster would be to big, to fit in the front pocket of the bibs.

I like Schmidt because they are less expensive than other brands yet last just as long.

Tina ordered two pairs for me. A stone washed and a dark blue. One fit chart said "...they shrink, go up one pants size." Another said, " They dont fit like pants, measure your body at it's widest point, be it waist or gut, and be honest. Then add an inch, they shrink. ". So... We did, and ordered that size. Then when they arrived, as instructed, washed both pairs in hot water and dried them. Fit perfect.
