Get rid of the green white checkered at the super speedways. It just isn’t worth it.

Ross Chastain has been named the substitute driver of the No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the team announced Wednesday.

Currently there is no timetable for Newman’s return.

Ross Chastain is a good driver, be interesting to see how he does in this ride.

No comments on yesterdays race so far.

I'll start by saying great run by Matt D in the 21 car in 2nd place. Stenhouse still showing strength finishing in 3rd. Good run for Austin Dillon in 4th. And got to give a shout out to his brother Ty in 10th.

Tho I was hoping Blaney would get one, I was proud for Joey. Agreed, I was glad to see Matt come in 2nd.
Good race, I love 1/2 mi. tracks. I have a NASCAR simulator on my PC. Very realistic. I like racing on the Texas track. You can feel the speed, and handling has to be right. You can go into the garage & set up your car just like they do. You learn a lot as you go. Been doing it since '94.

I hated to see Chase get taken out .... until then, his car was the class of the field .... Jimmy looked like days of old .... slapped the wall and still charged to a 5th place finish .... I was surprised to see none of the 7 Yotas in the race finish in the top 14 ....

Heard on the radio today, that Ryan Newman was hanging out in the garage area. Also, read in the paper that he suffered a head
injury. No bones broken. Didn't specify what type head injury. Hoping for a full recovery, get back in the car soon.

Kyle is not the best qualifier. Truex failed inspection.

But that said, I wish they drove Chevrolets, lol.

Those two fighters that did the fly over. Circled our area for about 10 minutes before their fly over at the track. LOUD!!! Friggin' awesome.

I used to have an office in Irvine across the street from the Tustin chopper base. Lived very close to the El Toro base.
Enjoyed daily fly overs of FA-18 Hornets, while driving to and from work.

Been to many airshows and have seen the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels. Those guys can give you a rush for sure if you like planes like I do.
