That's a neat old scope. Redfield made some 3/4" 4X scopes I think were meant for .22 rifles; they're pretty proud of them when I've see them for sale at gun shows, so I've never been able to play with one. Like this one, they'd fit nicely on a classic rim fire carbine.

It was on a '59 39a Golden Mountie that I bought a couple years ago.
