Site seems to be working OK.
What did you do at your reloading bench today?

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

22° wind and 1 inch of the white stuff on the ground. It's the snow drift that makes it worse. Looks like a blizzard out.Glad it wasn't 5" like they predicted. All's good. Big mug of dark roast , and waiting for the better half to cook up some breakfast. We take turns. I've got plenty of work to do on the Bench if I want to, I believe today is the perfect day. Cheers!

Going to load up some .45 Colt today with what I have left of MB coated 255 gr. SWC bullets and some 255 Xtreme plated.
Nothing wild...just 9 gr. of Unique.
Nice day out but 45 degrees and way to windy to make use of it outside.

My new aluminum powder funnel ( 50 cal. ), arrived this AM. It fits the 45/70 just fine.

Today I went down and bowed my head in prayer at my bench to ask for no wind so I can go shoot my 41 on Saturday. If I get that done then I can do some reloading at my bench again.

A vice can be a handy thing to have, I have 2 on mine ( smaller tho ). I lined the jaws with leather strips, for holding sensitive stuff.

You tumbler looks like mine. Did you add those two gray bands on the bucket, or did you do that yourself? Good idea, may add that to mine. Better traction.

Pretty much how I do it RR. 50 at a time. No hurry. And, I am liking that 7.0gr Universal load. A lot. It's right there with my 8.0gr Unique load.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 4:24 pmJust getting set up to crank out 50 rounds of 45 Colt....250 gr LRNFP...7.0 gn of Universal. Glad to hear it, it seems to be a very consistent easy load to manage.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Loaded up 50 41 mags with the 215 swc I had. Used 8 gr of Unique under them. OAL is 1.695. Randy guess I was wrong about the 41. I dropped 5 in the tube and they run through there smooth as glass. Maybe it was something else I had it mixed up with.
