Our Morning Coffee and Weather

We're visiting with our first grandson. We tend not to venture out during the heaviest traffic. We came down 101 and traffic wasn't too bad at the time of day we got here. Eureka has gotten crazy big. Weather is sunny here and it's a good break from the gray, sad drizzly winter days in the TV.

Mags your just rubbing it in. Your about 3 hrs south of my hometown of Eureka. Is Santa Rosa's traffic still nuts? Seems like 101 is always under construction there.

35° light snow/ice, wind and nasty out. Lost power last night for awhile.
The coffee machine is working overtime this morning.
My reloading supplies came yesterday, and I believe I'm going to have to rearrange my bench. Im dead in the water though because I can't find my large primer cup for my rock chucker. Yes that's how I seat primers. Ordered one last night after searching for a couple of hours with neg results

Hahaha, yeah u right. I looked everywhere last night. Finally gave in and just ordered the darn thing. I did manage to size,flare,and clean primer pockets. At least I got something accomplished this morning. Next in the agenda is to clean up this dead branch that split off a healthy tree. Darn thing landed on my ramp. Could be worse, cuz I built that ramp for my little dog. Cheers.

Right, back in November I couldn't find my 357 shell holder, looked everywhere so I thought.
Stopped by Academy one afternoon on the way home from work and grabbed a new one.
Couple days later I found the original.

I got tired of the primers popping out of the Rock Chucker Primer cup and ordered the Lee loader with the auto primer feed tray. Now I sit in my recliner in front of the TV in the evening and prime with that. It's actually enjoyable.

Ive got one of the RCBS tube feeders on my rock chucker for priming. It works great.

25F and an inch of snow. Tea in the Henry mug. Garbage dump run this morning, the the Co-Op to get a salt lick for the horses.

Below zero this AM, but bright sunshine. Supposed to start snowing around midnight and snow until tomorrow afternoon.
All the kids that live around here are supposed to come for dinner tomorrow and do hope they can make it.
We leave Friday for the south and would like to see them before we go, but we will be back for Easter if we don't.
Carol is adamant that we all celebrate Easter together. We have my Mother's antique dining table and china cabinet.
We put in all the leaves and we all sit around minus phones, and have a family dinner. Believe it or not, the grand kids
love it. They get to participate in the conversation with the adults. I love it too.

56 on its way to 65 with a 0% chance of rain today on the Colorado River near Columbus, TX .... 80% chance of rain over the next couple of days .... the day is off to a good start with home smoked sausage, beautifully fried eggs, sliced tomatoes, Folgers in a Henry mug

Nothin beautiful here unless you like snow. Got a few inches overnight. 24 this am and they say 40 today Im thinkin it will be lucky to hit 35. Gonna make some bacon and eggs with some big ole waffles now thats beautiful
