I just tumbled some .223 and .45 acp brass.
Getting reading for some new goodies to arrive tommorow.
I decided to start loading 45 Acp, so I got tooled up. Even went as far as getting a new powder measure; Hornady lock and load with a pistol drum , and RCBS .45 acp 3 die set.

I decided to start loading 45 Acp, so I got tooled up. Even went as far as getting a new powder measure with a pistol drum.

It's been a while sine I have loaded for either of those.
Although I do in fact have 1000+ sized and primed 223's right here under the desk ready to go.
And ah,probably 3x that many bullets.
As to the 45 acp, there's a bunch of it here but it's not even been cleaned.
But there is ammo if needed.

I'm hoping to shoot the 1911 more often. Lately I just make sure I'm proficient with it, since I carry it more and more. I've got the Kimber .22 conversion for practice, but it's just not the same.
As for the .223 I always make sure I have at least 1,000 rds at hand.

My 1911 is my carry/truck gun, I need to shoot mine a little more often than I do also.
