Kinda chilly here, but, windy. Windy in the desert and at the mountain range I go to. Dang! Guess I'll take my wife's new car and have the windows tinted a bit, then handload some 30-30. Don't much care for wind in the desert. Double dang.

I was going to go to the range this AM till I saw the temperature. Ten degrees! Nope, nope, nope!
I'll go to the Minneapolis Gun Club at noon and drink coffee indoors while we talk about shooting.
I'm just too old for this cold stuff.

ugly morning on the shore of the Colorado River near Columbus, TX .... 41 degrees on it way to 53 later today ... only a 20% chance rain but from the stream of water running down the windows, a solid portion of that 20% coming down right now .... the good news is, really good weather is supposed to return on Friday

Lots of hard rain all night. Creek might just break over the banks this morning. Just sitting here drinking some dark roast Italian blend. Not much i can do. I do have to drive my SXS down to the gate sometime today and pick up my reloading order. That's something to look forward to.
Cheers

Morning 38° now and not getting any warmer so they say.
It appears that it rained most of the night, and was went I woke.
Not at the moment, and looking at the radar it looks as if we won't get much more till later this afternoon.
Has been a wet beginning to the year.
Sipping some Folgers also, can I get a couple of those eggs Jim? ;)

Good to know. It's a mess up here. Might get out and take a ride/survey of our area. I live next to a large creek, and the Doe River is only 1.5 miles from our place. If it floods were kinda cut off. We're good though, plenty of supplies if needed. Fine day to be hunkered over the reloading bench.

Looked at the rain gauge when I went out to feed the birds and squirrels this morning.
Since Tues. we've gotten a little over 2.5".

Dog and I needed life jackets out in the yard this morning. Hahaha. It's rained 2 1/4 inches since yesterday at this time. Not to bad. Just checked in with the fellas around our area via Ham Radio, and it all looks good so far. There is a section of the river that's not looking to good, and it's right next to the road, and the bridge is just about to be breached. Happens whenever we have rains like this, anyway hope everybody has a good day.
