New Cowboy Rig
I need a cowboy rig for my 7.5" Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt. All the custom makers are out of my price range. Does anyone have experience with the Mexican mfg's on eBay?. Their prices are within my budget.

Try Wild West Mercantile or Triple K Leather.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
I have a Triple K leather rig that I'm very happy with. It was reasonably priced.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
My new Ruger Single Ten sits in a Triple K. Bought from Ruger website. About $50.00, and well made!
Can't see because of my lousy pics, but, the thumb break is metal reinforced and the Ruger logo is debossed on the front top. They make this exact one for your gun.
Dunno...maybe you want a real cowboy drop leg style.

I'm looking for a belt and holster similar to the one John Wayne wore in Big Jake. like this one. So far all I've found are well over $200. My budget is more like $150.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
I may have found what I'm lookin for on Etsy. Sent an enquiry to a vendor who makes a replica of "The Duke" gun belt. Only thing is the one he makes is for a shorter barrel than mine. His cartridge belt is $85 and holster is $40. Hopefully he'll make one for my length barrel.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
Just an FYI
Holster on belt is period correct
Drop down flap ie Buscadero is Hollywood style
Your photo of the John Wayne one looks like belt through the holster. Just depends what you like. Post pics when you get one, and hope they can make the one you want.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
My on belt Triple K aint pretty...but on belt is where I personally want mine. Plain leather is ok with me. I ain't going to the OK corral. Just want practical carry. To each their own though, respectfully.

I assume you mean EBAY.I may have found what I'm lookin for on Etsy.
If so and you haven't already open Ebay and type in the search box 'western holsters' - there is currently 10 pages of holsters & belts up for bid and for sale.
Or just click below.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
If you can stretch your budget about $60 here's one very similar to what your looking for. He makes a very nice holster. I have his Virginian holster, no belt yet, may get one later.

Re: New Cowboy Rig
I have bought both my western holsters on Esty plus other stuff. I like it because you are buying from the artist or craftperson directly with Esty handling the money. It is site mainly for independent craft people.
