Testing out my new Henry BB .357 !
All I can say is it shoots as good as it looks and the looks....WOW... blew me away!
The CCH that came on this one makes my Uberti's take a back seat! Beautiful pattern and deep color!!
First shots were right out the box with MB 158 gr. SWC loaded with 12.6 gr Alliant 2400 powder.
I noticed shots were of to the left a bit and low.
Next switched to the famous "Rifletom" 180 gr. MB bullet load with 11.5 gr. of 2400. Those are the sweet shooters as you can see
from the next round 2 target and then after a windage and elevation adjust.
Everything cycled smooth thru the Big Bad Boy including the .38 Specials I had brought.
Later it was a blast knocking the steel around with those 180's! https://youtu.be/mcRxSbEUehs
Only thing I need to do is open up that rear sight blade to allow more view around the front bead sight like I did on my BBS .44 Carbine.
For the money spent $742 bucks this is one Heck of a value...great looking, quality CCH and a sweet shooter!
Many thanks to you guys for talking me into a .357 Henry Lever shooter!

Yep still a grinnin' ! Just feels good to get a nice rifle right out the box and hopefully no issues down the road.
Got the call around 12:30 today that it was in and loaded my range bag in the truck to pick up. Then right down to my place and did a quick
bore clean with a spray of brake cleaner and a run thru with the bore snake. Spray with Ballistol...bore snake again and then to shooting.
Now to load up more of those 180's !

Good to hear no issues, waiting to hear what the rest of the loads do also.
Shot 5 of those off the back deck this morning after the wife left.
4 outa 5 on the 8" at 50yds off hand standing.

Re: Testing out my new Henry BB .357 !
Yep I will let it stretch it's legs a bit next time I get down there. I was a bit pushed for time today but will enjoy more in
a couple days. I want to modify that rear sight insert as it can be hard to find that little bead sometimes.
I also fired off some 125 gr. XTP loads loaded with 9 gr. of Unique but didn't get those on a paper target..just plinking the steel.
Have some heavy rain moving in tonight so have to let things dry out over the weekend down there.
