Music has always been very influential for me - considering I have played guitar & banjo but a better singer than with instruments.

I have sang in a few amateur bands, stood in with a few in bars & clubs and always get up to sink Karaoke and not to 'pat myself on the back' but usually get repeat requests!

I have a wide vocal range and can do well to actually imitate some famous singers (and some not).

My 'opener' is 'You Never Even Called Me By My Name' by David Alan Coe - and it seems this is a universal favorite and always sets the 'standard'. There is essentially no instrumental intro to the song other than one guitar chord so no one really knows what the song is until the opening verse which I lay on heavy and with the typical D.A.C . 'inflection'!

One of my favorites is 'The Picture' by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow but I need a willing female to accompany me with this number. A few years ago in a local club I got one and she was excellent in the part.

Another favorite is 'Pancho & Lefty' and I can do both parts fairly well.

A local roadhouse near where I live used to have Karaoke every saturday night and there was a local who could imitate HANK WILLIAMS SR. to a 'T' - it was like Luke the drifter was there. He usually did many Hank numbers before taking a rest!

Another excellent show I once saw was a Jimi Hendrix impersonator. He and the band absolutely looked and sounded like the original.

I typically have a series of videos running on my TV while in the house.
