26 dark and chilly. Up early with my dog having some dark roast in my Gadsen Flag mug. No real plans today, except possibly some re-loading, and some Ham Radio operating. Nice to be retired.

Big storm brewing for KC this weekend. 55F here right now, but rain to mix to snow by Friday night, with 8" plus before it's all over.

At least that's today's story from the weather-wonks!

Thaw! 24 this morning and should hit 39 today. Then it's back into the deep freeze next week.

64 on its way to 72 later today with rain moving in late in Willis, TX .... concern building as a result of weather statements like this for tomorrow night ==> "Thunderstorms, some strong in the evening, then cloudy with rain likely overnight. Damaging winds, large hail and possibly a tornado with some storms. Low around 50F. SSE winds shifting to W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%."

I was promised snow last night but awoke to nothing. Seems the temperature for everyone ranges from the 20’s to the 50’s. I’m right in the middle with 35.

8-12” of snow predicted for my area by tomorrow afternoon with another storm due Sunday. Then an arctic freeze with lows in the minus single digits and highs in the single digits. Going to be a fun ride. :D
