New member, old shooter
New from Delaware. I picked up my first Henry a few weeks ago. It was the AR7. An inexpensive but very well done rifle. Then I was looking at the Henry website and saw the color case hardened Big Boy .357 carbine. It was a match for my .357 Cimarron El Malo with the case hardened frame and octagon barrel. After looking at videos on the color case hardened Big Boy, I'll be receiving the new rifle next week. I'm toying about a Tyler Gun Works tomahawk that is also color case hardened by Bobby Tyler who does the Henry receivers.

Welcome aboard, MarkB. Nice first Henry choices....you'll enjoy both, and the Forum, too. I've looked at that El Malo revolver before, and it is a sharp-looking 357. The Birdshead is a very
grip design.
Thanks....appreciate your USCG service.

Do you think this will go with the .357 CC carbine?

Re: New member, old shooter
No doubt about it, MarkB.
I opted for my six-gun in .45LC caliber. Really like shooting that caliber.
Here is a photo. Does it look kind of familiar
