26 and gray. One heck of a windstorm yesterday. A little snow on the ground. Im just glad there was no damage.

28F today. Not doing much other than clean the rifle. I have a wicked cough and chest cold. Oh well, chores then tea time.

24 and clear for a change, although tomorrow it's supposed to go into the deep freeze again.
Youngest daughter's birthday today. Took her and her family out for dinner last night. Prices were high and food not that good.
Going shooting this AM with the crowd. Then to to pick up a quarter of a steer at the butcher shop. Good eats!

Twenties right now but temps plunging this afternoon to a high of zero tomorrow morning.
Gotta go make coffee soon. Going to the VA Hospital today to visit an old friend who fell and hit his head.
He had brain surgery about a month ago and is slowly recovering.

a beautiful 52 degrees at Sherling Lake, AL this morning .... by the time we get to Denham Springs, LA this afternoon the temp is forecast to be a sunny 63 degrees .... with river flooding predicted for early next week, we are happy that we are scheduled to leave there in the morning .... have seen flooding in the Baton Rouge area, hope never to see it again

its a pretty dang cool 34 degrees in Baton Rouge this morning .... its a bit warmer 39 in Willis, TX which is our destination for today .... its supposed to get up to 67 .... 0% chance of rain in the areas we are to travel today .... warmer temps in the low 70's with 50% chance or better for the next 3 days ....

Didn't quite get to zero, only got down to 2 degrees. Supposed to be a warming trend for the next few days now.
Got an appointment today to see about getting dentures. Not looking foreword to that. :(

A latte for breakfast and it’s raining. Snow in the forecast for the passes. Seattle might not get much snow but 50 miles away there can be a hundred inches on the ground.
