the 300 WBY resizing issue is solved by carrying presized cases.
Not a bad idea and eliminates some issues.

Heck if you have pre sized cases you could probably finish up with a hand press, something like what BruniX posted a picture of.

I started out using Lee Loaders back in the early 60's .... moved from there to a Lee Hand Press .... haven't used it in a long time .... it does work better/faster than a Lee Loader but not by much .... with the way we travel, resizing cases will be necessary .... it could be done with with the Hand Press but doing many would be more work than I'm willing to put up with

Oh yea - resizing with the hand press would be where I would draw the line as well.

Your statement of 'it does work better/faster than a Lee Loader but not by much' I wouldn't have expected - having also started with a Lee Loader myself (bad memories) I would have thought the hand press would be much better but dang it mister I believe ya!

understood .... as I remember, the casing walls back then were thicker and harder metal than what's on the market today .... hammering 30-30 and 308 the cases into and out of the resizing die might have been state of the art back then but sure slowed things down

Lee loaders were probably responsible for more press sales than anything else!

I remember doing the hand press with 357 for a Ruger Blackhawk. I was out in the middle of nowhere then and I know if I wanted to shoot much it was reloading my own. Im spoiled now and aint goin back to that.

I don't recall loading much with my Lee Loader before moving on to a 'real' press.
