I have never shot a single action revolver. I have a friends here and he has encouraged me to take it out for a spin but I havent.
So I dont have a perfect marriage .. maybe my set is a "little country and a little rock and roll" :)

nothing wrong with that pair Alex. Like the unfluted cylinder and the wood on the Henry is nice.

Hi all!

Here's to a great 2020 ahead!

My 22 LR Golden Boy Youth wanted a playmate, so I got the beautiful Uberti 12 shot 22 Cattleman revolver. Swapped out the trigger and main springs for Wolff's springs and deburred and polished everything for a much more tuned action. Also refinished the reddish walnut grip for my favorite darker walnut and Renaissance Wax finish. I worked up the tooled leather holster and belt, which also has a sheath for my Buck Bowie knife. The conchos date to about 1950.

The Henry really likes CCI MiniMag ammo, but the stuff is way too hot for the revolver. So I use CCI Standard for it, and for both when doing regular plinking. But the MiniMag in the Henry for precision shooting, with 10 shots inside one inch at 50 yards or so. Henry fitted with Skinner peep sight.

Bill

I bet you really hate having a 12 shot 22 revolver. I have one and love shooting it.
