44 right now in central NC and it is headed to 57 later today .... the 100% chance of rain yesterday rolled in as scheduled and what we call a soaking rain is still here ... we've had a slow, steady rain that has had time to soak in .... hopefully the front will move on later today .... my Luckenbach mug is in heavy use this morning .. ;)

Getting a light dusting of snow and 12 degrees. Supposed to go into the deep freeze tonight and high of only 9 tomorrow.
Coffee in my MACV cup and will work in the shop today.

My Wife is an Attorney and the last three evenings we addressed over 300 Christmas Cards to her clients and some to family.
Glad that's done for the year.

Oh yeah, nice piece of Pecan Pie with coffee. That's just not right is it?

I don't envy that terrible cold weather...I do like living where there are four seasons..the extremes either hot or cold are the pits and I'm glad when they have passed...time for this quiet old man to make some coffee....I see I have a possom in a live trap out in the yard .... may be soft hearted this and dump him half way between farms instead of shooting him...I did read where a possom will eat 5000 ticks in a year and I dispise ticks much more than possoms ...

Nothing unusual for the first winter storm warning in the KC area. Starting south of my Northland location possible snow accumulation of 5"-7"; no serious warning specifically here but there are large snowflakes swirling down at the moment and everything is turning white.

Always the one nemesis for me is that they've also predicted 1/10" of ICE.....black ice not nice :!:
Anyway, if that much snow does happen and it remains cold, we probably will have a White Christmas this year.
