Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
It was a busy day, but I managed to get to the range and I had a great time shooting the BBB and the SmokeWagon. A few glasses of wine, with and after dinner, capped off a good day nicely.
Try not to be too stressed by the rest of the world as it seemingly explodes in our faces on our small and large screens. Except for climate change, it's never been totally relevant day-to-day, anyway.

News always did happen, good and bad. The difference is nowadays we hear about it instantly with cell phones, Facebook, etc. Years ago we never got everything, 24 hrs a day. It's relentless.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Ahhh..tea time with the new Henry mug....Guess I'll have to use another mug sometime soon but not yet! Day was ok, took a little ride horseback before supper. It's taken a little while and some adjusting to get my rifle scabbard hanging just right but I think I've nailed it. I have to be able to cue my horse with my legs, so it's a little tricky getting it fit just right.
Nice evening, cool and breezy. Tomorrow try to finish the wood panels and log walls in the living room. If all goes well I'll haul a horse to the Forest Reserve on Sunday and go for a long ride in the back country.

You got that right!
A nice Canadian whiskey then off to bed. Fishing in the AM. A pleasant diversion.

Worked all weekend in house doing log walls and vertical pine panels. Almost done, will finish next weekend. Supper soon and evening tea in the Henry mug.

Here's a couple of pics of the new walls in our living room. Horizontal half logs and vertical pine flat walls. The clock is from the early 1800's. An uncle my wife had was a collector of clocks and we got this one. The walls are not done, they'll get a coat of light oil to bring the grain out. Just have to hang the Henry up somewhere. It just begs to hang on a log wall.

Really nice walls and unique decor. I never saw a clock like that one.

Thanks, my wife painted that little cow painting on that shelf. She paints all the time and has had her stuff in the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase and Art Auction.
