in a few hours dawn will break for the 78th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941 .... its hard to believe that so many years have gone by :!: .... my father ended up serving as a carrier fighter pilot, the attack on Pearl Harbor was what motivated him to join the Navy

My father's last sub assignment during WWII. He was on four during his tour. USS Pampanito.

I really wonder how many college grads from today even know anything about this or what it stands for. I hope these people are never forgotten. Long live the memory of these men and women.
