Who has been messing with things

Post by Travlin » Fri Dec 06, 2019 8:24 am

Why is it all of the sudden such a major hassle to log in on this site. Nothing has been changed on my computer but for the last three log ins it has taken me four or five times to get it. This added to the no sound with the broken light bulbs makes me wonder what's up ???

no clue .... no change in logging in that I've noticed .... snowfall looks the same .... I keep the sound turned off so to check, I had to turn it back on ... no sound from breaking the lights but I don't know if that's different or not .... will pass the concern on

The Holiday add ons aren't playing nice with those (like me) using less powerful equipment.
Using a phone, a Samsung pad and a kindle, the kindle has not been effected.

I had not said anything, however a little while back my log in process changed.
Used to be one click on the log in box and then the boxes would pop up, already filled in with user name and password. Then, one click and in. That is how I originally set it up.
Now, I hit log in and the boxes pop up showing my user name above them. I then have to click on my user name and then it puts that and my password in the boxes. I then have to hit login again at which time, the boxes move up on the screen and have to hit login again, sometimes twice.
Bottom line is; you are not alone Travlin. I have not changed any settings on my puter either. :?:

I just checked in the backroom. Everything is the same. I've noticed similar changes on some of my other favorite sites. I chalk it up to my browser, Chrome. The lights and the snow have controls that let the user control them. Others have explained how to control them. Just look at some of the other threads and try it out if they bother your computer or phone.

It's really no big deal Dave. I only commented so ' Travlin ' would know he's not alone.
Thank you for checking it at your end though! :)

Ok, ok...I did it. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to mess with everyone.

Wait, computer expertise? Never mind.

Me too. Sometimes I can't click directly on the 'Quick Link' menu. Have to click on the white blank space underneath it.

I now have to click on the word ' links ' and it works. Used to be able to click on ' quick ' or ' links '
It only recognises my cursor on links.
