Windows 10 homepage
How do I set my Windows 10 homepage to yahoo? I'm about ready to shoot my computer.

Re: Windows 10 homepage
Sir Henry,
The homepage you want is located in the "web browser". I don't use Win10 (I'm still way back in Win 7), but I'm sure if you search for help in the browser, you can find help for changing/setting your "home page".

Windows 10 promotes MSN and while there must be a way of changing it they don't tell you how.CT_Shooter wrote:Sir Henry,

Understood. The largest caliber and largest grain bullet you have will do just fine.

Thanks. My wording was a little different but it is where you said it would be.JEBar wrote:we use Firefox .... with windows 10 .... right click on the upper part of the screen .... window will drop down ... click menu bar .... click tools .... click options .... click search .... one choice is Yahoo

So what do you think of Win 10 so far? I haven't heard anything good about it yet. Everyone I know who's tried it are underwhelmed and a few have uninstalled it and gone back to their old OS.

Its like Microsoft trying to re-invent the wheel and thinking when they do its wonderful. But in fact the new wheel doesn't do anything the old wheel didn't do with the real difference the lug nuts are different but they don't tell you that.Pete wrote:So what do you think of Win 10 so far? In the good ol' days we would take TV's to the dump and shoot them. They make a cool noise when they break.RetiredSeabee wrote:Range report with lots of pictures pleaseSir Henry wrote:I'm about ready to shoot my computer.

I'll give up my windows 7 when they pry it from my cold dead hands. Win 10 sux. My wife has it on a laptop. It was eating up all the bandwidth on our DSL. I went to look and found all the news feeds and other crap that run constantly whether you want them or not. They have since been deleted.
I don't get the desire to have a desk top that acts like a cell phone. Nor do I get touch screen desktops. Nothing quite as much fun as constant fingerprints to look through.

Re: Windows 10 homepage
my first experience with Microsoft operating systems was with DOS ... I remember when Windows 1.0 came out in the mid 80's it was a step forward .... the various levels of Windows 2 & 3 followed but their first that I really liked was Windows 95 .... I stayed with it though several upgraded until early 2000 when they released XP .... eventually around 2009 I went with Windows 7 and found it to be a solid system .... others followed and now I'm using 10 .... I could probably go back to 95 and do what little I use a computer for but 10 works for us so we are OK with itPete wrote:So what do you think of Win 10 so far? Re: Windows 10 homepage
I liked 7. Then I got a computer with windows 8. Then that went to 8.1. Now I have windows 10 on the laptop, desktop and girlfriend's touch screen hybrid. I agree, I don't touch the screen often for the fingerprint factor.
I like 10. It is a better version of 8 and 8.1. I like how it's adapted to the phones and tablets. I can admin the site from my phone or tablet with ease.

In 1995 I was using a Mac and Mac people joked Windows 95 finally does what a Mac has been doing since the 1980's.JEBar wrote:my first experience with Microsoft operating systems was with DOS ...
