Glad to be here
Glad I found this forum, looks like a great place to hang out, seems friendly. I had a Golden Boy a couple years ago but let someone talk me out of it. That's ok as it was a gift for his son, his first gun. The hunt begins, not sure if a Golden Boy or Big Boy will be in my future or probably both. I have the original size Ruger Vaquero in 45 Colt so may go that direction first,

Re: Glad to be here
Welcome to the forum. If you have a Vaquero in 45 Colt I would go that route on a Henry.

Re: Glad to be here
This is definitely a friendly place to be.
I'd definitely go with the .45. I got my Big Boy in .357 specifically to match up ammo with my S&W revolver.

Welcome from Indiana, Jazzman.
Either of those Henrys (or both) is a good choice.

Welcome from Alberta. I love my Big Boy in .45 Colt, and will soon add a revolver in that caliber.
