I ain't sayin', but :

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith
I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate

I turned the big 66 today. I didn't think that I would make it this far. Too many bad boys out there, but it seems that they have faded into dust. I only like to remember the good times or at least some that my buds can remember telling me.

Thanks for that, Gunny. There was a saloon in Mexico that had a tranny that was a dead ringer for Marilyn and she sang Happy Birthday so well that I there a minute felt Like JFK. I'll never forget that B'Day. My Grandfather always told me that the girls in Juarez will wear you out!! LOL.

I'm and FNG here and have been working my way through the site. I am impressed by the knowledge and respect that is shown by all hands.

I have read every entry into the How Old Are You, and have to say, sadly, I remember most of what everyone else did. Remember Duck and Cover in school to hide from the nuclear bombs Russia was bringing?

I'm 67, feel like I'm 37 and been married to the same young lady for 43 years. Family came from Texas to Tucson. Just did my HR218 qualification yesterday and shot a 495 and can still see my front sight.(shot a perfect 500 on all weapons systems the day before I retired).

I have loved my carbines and 1911's for 45 years, and have now taken a step back to my wheel guns and lever guns. Old Bull/Young Bull, faster is not necessarily better, slow and steady.

I refuse to throw in the towel until they put the towel on my face and I'll keep fighting until 30 minutes after I'm Gone !

Now, back to my Jameson !

Thanks all for the great site. Great group of folks !

That is my girl Abby. I have hunted German Shorthairs since around 1970. My wife and I have always had the breed (43 years) We got Abby and her sister Sam at 3 months on a ranch outside of Tucson in 2004. She and her sister were with me for 15 years and unfortunately she moved recently. She was one of my favorite pups of all time.

While she was still with us, and we knew she was winding down, we picked up our newest GSP from GSP rescue (1 year old) with some abuse history. She is working well through her past.

Thanks for asking about miss Abby !

Great story and I'm sure Abby will continue to adjust with TLC. I should have recognised the breed, as an old friend, way back in HS had two. Like I said...WAY back. ;) :)

62, above ground, taking nourishment, and not bumping wood, so I reckon I'm ok.

It’s really strange clicking that 71 button. I still feel like I’m in my 20’s. I just can’t believe I’m 71.

Bumping eighty now. At breakfast after church this AM and they had a mirror behind my wife. I happened to look over her shoulder and wondered who that good looking old man was behind her. YIKES! It was me! :o
