I'd like to offer a suggestion.
If one is going to respond to a post instead of copying the entire OPs original post and posting it as a quote maybe just copy the title or just the specific part of the post you are responding to.
This will reduce the number of pages in a thread and speed things up a bit.
Make sense?

I do that with some especially on a large post because I am only commenting on that particular phrase.
But I am also guilty of not doing it also, and will try and do better.

I use the quote function to reply. It copies the entire post. I then edit the quote content down to the specific piece I'm replying to. Most of the time.
